Job description

Our Fitness & Wellness Department is looking for a dedicated Weight Room Attendant to join the team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Weight Room by maintaining cleanliness, order, and implementing Policies and Procedures.
  • Must possess superior customer service skills, enthusiasm, and pride.
  • Strong values in the areas of community and respect are essential and help us to achieve our vision of each day creating a positive and enjoyable experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and exchange appropriate information with staff and guests.
  • Exceptional customer service focus, and high level of verbal, written and listening skills.
  • High school Diploma, Valid Standard First Aid/CPR and Current fitness certification is an asset.
  • Able to work with patrons of varying demographics.
  • Proven ability to be proactive and work without supervision.
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to embrace change.

Hours

The standard workweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor.

Compensation

Starting Salary $23.65 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
