Job summary

Canada Post is hiring a temporary, on-call delivery agent in Montréal and Laval. You’ll start at the depot, sort deliveries and load the postal vehicle, delivering mail and parcels on your route.

This role is outdoors year-round and requires a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and fluency in English or French. Canada Post offers competitive pay, extensive training, and potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record (3+ years)
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) regularly
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Willingness to be on-call
• Reads, writes and speaks English and/or French

Responsibilities

• Start the day at the depot, sorting and preparing deliveries
• Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle
• Spend most of the day delivering mail and packages on your route
• Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages
