Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a car.
- Negative TB test completed within the last year.
- Valid Criminal Record Check completed within the last year.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans.
- Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Skills
Effective verbal and written communication in English
Good judgement
Ability to work independently
Ability to work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary team
Education
PSW certification from an approved educational institution
Valid CPR/First Aid certificate
Valid WHMIS2015 certificate of completion
