Tolko-Industries-Lt is seeking Weekend Cleanup employees to keep our Kamloops operation running smoothly. The role is a casual weekend position (Saturdays and Sundays) with full training provided, and no prior experience required.

Based at the Heffley Creek Division in Kamloops, BC, the site employs about 215 staff and produces plywood and veneer for customers worldwide. Join a safety‑driven team in a physically demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment to working safely.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment.
• Have reliable transportation to site as the work location is not accessible by transit.
• Previous experience in a forest products industry considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Work independently as part of a team dedicated to safely and efficiently producing lumber products.
• Perform a variety of labour and production duties around the mill supporting the production of our plywood products.
• Do general clean-up activities such as sweeping and keeping equipment clean.
• Stand long periods, frequently twist and bend while working on the production line.
• Perform most work indoors but may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures.

They make sure the production and trades teams have a clean environment to work in, which is essential for a safe and efficient workplace. We’re looking for Weekend Cleanup employees to join our Heffley Creek Division, located in Kamloops, British Columbia. With approximately 215 employees, Heffley Creek produces plywood and veneer products, safely and sustainably while producing approximately 180 million square feet of plywood and 28 million square feet of veneer per yearfor customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
