Role Overview

We’re seeking experienced and passionate Lead Photographers and Second Shooters to join our team. As part of Mango Studios, you’ll work collaboratively to capture our clients while adhering to our signature style and high standards of quality.

Photographer Responsibilities
  • Pre-Event Consultation: Collaborate with clients or event organizers to understand specific needs, preferences, and the event schedule, including key moments and stylistic requirements. (Primarily for Lead Photographers).
  • Equipment Preparation: Ensure all necessary photography equipment is in top condition, including cameras, lenses, tripods, flash units, batteries, and memory cards.
  • Site Inspection: Visit the event location in advance (if needed) to assess lighting, plan shots, and address any challenges.
  • Photographic Coverage: Capture the event with professionalism and artistry, including candid moments, posed group photos, and intricate detail shots.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Handle dynamic environments, lighting changes, and unexpected situations while maintaining a creative approach.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with clients and guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring they feel at ease and confident in front of the camera.
  • Culling Images: Review and organize images after the event to identify the best shots, eliminating duplicates or unfit photos before handing over files.
  • Timely RAW File Drop-Off: Submit culled RAW files promptly after each event in the format and timeline specified by the studio to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Archiving and Backup: Safeguard raw and edited images to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in wedding photography (Lead Photographers must have a portfolio showcasing full-day coverage).
  • Mastery of photography equipment and software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and travel to various event locations.
  • Own professional-grade photography equipment (preferred but negotiable for Second Shooters).
