POSITION OVERVIEW

The Design & Website Specialist reports to the Marketing Brand Manager, and is responsible, alongside the marketing team, for the development and deployment of creative and brand materials for the Society consistent with our global branding and positioning. This role is integral in supporting all ISCT marketing and communication portals to provide consistent, clear and impactful messaging of the Society as a global leader in cell and gene therapy (CGT).

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Website maintenance and updates via Higher Logic CMS
• Updates and graphic development for main website and up to four microsites for ISCT sub-brands
• Development of key brand materials, including sales booklets, conference signage, email and social media templates, infographics, and presentations.
• Provides expertise and implementation on website structure, navigation, and content development
• Develops visual concepts for branding and marketing campaigns
• Create digital and print-ready files as deliverables for marketing & communications objectives
• Ensure a member-focused perspective in ISCT branding and creative.
• Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the team’s success.
• Support other team members as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree required. Design-related major or certificate preferred.
• 3+ years related work experience in a design role.
• 3+ years related work experience including web design as a primary responsibility
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, third-party email software, social media platforms, website content management, and analytics.
• Familiarity with HTML website plugins, embeds, and implementation
• Strong experience with content management software using CSS and HTML code
• Strong expertise in Adobe design programs, as well as Canva
• Familiarity with video editing is an asset
• Experience working with WordPress is considered an asset.
• Experience working with brand accounts on LinkedIn is considered an asset.
• Basic experience with CRMs, especially Hubspot, is considered an asset.

This position will be located at ISCT Head Office in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
