We’re looking for a highly organized and creatively-minded individual to join our UX leadership team as a Design Operations and Communications Assistant. This hybrid role blends visual communication skills, strategic thinking, and operational coordination to support the Head of Design in driving team alignment, executive communication, and design system initiatives.


This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who is comfortable in Figma and who is passionate about organizational effectiveness, executive storytelling, and enabling UX excellence at scale.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Act as an Operations Assistant to the Head of Design by facilitating weekly UX design leadership meetings, including note taking, and tracking follow up actions and decisions.
  • Support creation of executive-facing UX prototypes, proposals, and pitch decks, ensuring visual polish, compelling narratives, and alignment with SAP branding.
  • Own internal team communications: craft newsletters, org updates, and internal announcements that reflect the tone and vision of UX leadership.
  • Assist in design system-related tasks, including reviewing contributions, gathering feedback from product designers, and documenting updates.
  • Coordinate with design operations, research, and product leadership to ensure a smooth flow of communication and clarity of priorities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communication, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in UX design, visual communication, or a related hybrid role.
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into clear, executive-ready messages.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple moving parts independently.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and levels.
  • Interest or experience in UX design systems is an asset.

PREFFERED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to use Design tools such as Figma and/or Sketch
  • Ability to record, produce and edit vide

The targeted combined range for this position is 74,600 - 156800(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
