Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Information Security within Tilray Brands IT, the Website Administrator will establish a security and technology baseline for all websites. Responsibilities include maintaining the baseline architecture, planning migration and consolidation, managing hosting environments, overseeing renewals and backups, and collaborating with other teams to ensure standards are followed. The role involves minor website updates, vendor support, security patching, and staying ahead of web landscape changes. This position is to fill a maternity leave coverage.

The candidate must be located in Toronto, Leamington, London, ON [Canada], or Atlanta, GA [USA].

Key Accountabilities

1. Making minor website changes, adding scripts, and installing plugins
2. Testing and implementing security updates for hosting platforms, CMS, and plugins
3. Creating and maintaining an index of websites, technical details, vendors, and owners
4. Establishing and implementing website standards policy in collaboration with IT
5. Conducting compliance and security audits to meet AODA and other global standards
6. Consolidating existing websites and hosting to adhere to standards
7. Collaborating on website infrastructure initiatives and adhering to Change Management policies
8. Maintaining consistent security across hosting and website platforms with Cybersecurity team
9. Monitoring site security, investigating alerts, and escalating issues
10. Managing hosting environments on platforms like Microsoft Azure, SiteGround, and WordPress
11. Generating website traffic and activity reports and analytics
12. Coordinating and managing new website launches
13. Implementing and testing automated backups and restore points
14. Integrating and managing payment gateways, including cryptocurrencies, on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
15. Implementing and managing Identity and Access Management with appropriate roles and permissions
16. Establishing guidelines for third-party access and best practices for design and change management
17. Setting up and maintaining production and non-production environments
18. Overseeing license and API key renewals and management
19. Monitoring website and hosting alerts to address downtime, payment failures, and updates

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or 2+ years of relevant experience
2. Experience managing hosting providers like AWS, Azure, and SiteGround
3. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, SquareSpace, Shopify, Builder.io
4. Basic web development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, GitHub
5. Vendor lifecycle management experience
6. Experience working in an ITGC environment
7. Website accessibility audits (AODA or WCAG 2.1)
8. REST API experience is a plus
9. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
10. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
