Job summary

Genesys in Toronto is seeking a Web Software Developer Intern to build production-quality web experiences and backend services for Genesys Cloud Workforce Management. You will work on modern frontend technologies and cloud-based services, gaining hands-on experience through the full software development lifecycle with mentorship from seasoned engineers.

The internship offers a hybrid work model, with 1–2 days per week at our downtown Toronto office, and spans 8 to 16 months starting May/June

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of developing responsive, single-page web applications using modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, or comparable web development technologies.
• Understanding of AWS technologies or fundamental cloud computing concepts.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
