Web Designer

Jonas Software – Club House Online Division

We are seeking a dedicated Web Designer to join our team on a full-time basis with strong modern UI design skills. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Design Team in a high-demand industry and will be responsible for participating in the day-to-day processes of the team, including but not limited to speaking with clients about their website design, creating mock-ups, executing full website builds, and managing and updating projects.

We want someone who has patience, passion, and professionalism to work with our high-value clients to build websites used by thousands of customers. If selected, you must be committed to creating high-quality websites and outstanding customer experiences. As the client liaison, you will guide, communicate, consult, and assist clients in managing their online presence, including providing site audits and recommendations via sitemap flowcharts to help them achieve their branding goals. To enhance search result rankings, you will create content based on up-to-date SEO guidelines and best practices. Familiarity with HTML and CSS is essential as we push our designs to deliver outstanding results.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work directly with clients to create website mock-ups.
2. Create and manage content for existing and new websites using the ClubHouse Online E3 content manager.
3. Design website content elements using modern UI, responsive design, and typography principles; modify/create content elements using HTML and CSS.
4. Build web content following SEO best practices; explain SEO guidelines and techniques to clients.
5. Perform miscellaneous design-related and administrative tasks to meet deadlines.
6. Create custom HTML email templates for the ClubHouse Online Email Marketing platform.
7. Create and modify design assets in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign.
8. Manage projects using online Customer Management Software.
9. Conduct online sessions via WebEx to share content and SEO best practices.

Job Qualifications:

1. Educational background in web design or at least 1 year of experience in web content design; knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
2. Proficiency with Adobe graphic/multimedia software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc.).
3. Advanced knowledge of responsive, modern UI, and typography design; experience designing for various devices and operating systems.
4. Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Kentico.
5. Familiarity with Email Marketing software such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Emma, Campaigner.
6. Ability to interpret wireframes, sitemaps, and prototypes.
7. Knowledge of website best practices, including SEO and web accessibility principles.
8. Excellent organizational, time management, punctuality, and customer service skills.
9. Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
10. Team player with a sense of personal responsibility for issue resolution.
