At OpenText, AI is at the heart of everything we do—powering innovation, transforming work, and empowering digital knowledge workers. We're hiring talent AI can't replace to help us shape the future of information management. Join us.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Web Agile Business Unit (BU) Lead, you are the web subject matter expert for your assigned business unit, ensuring that web content strategy aligns with user needs, accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and business objectives. Our team is focused on journey creation and optimization, ensuring that every web experience is thoughtfully designed to engage users, support business goals, and drive measurable impact.

Your role is at the intersection of content strategy, user experience, data storytelling, demand generation, and agile collaboration—driving discussions, providing insights, and advocating for a seamless, effective, and optimized web user journey.

A key aspect of this role is serving as the web lead for your assigned business unit, supporting both the global campaign and product marketing teams, as well as any other web content initiatives relevant to your BU. You will ensure that all web pages—including campaign landing pages, product pages, solutions pages, and other key content—are strategically optimized for engagement, conversions, and measurable business impact. Additionally, you will be responsible for mapping and optimizing the entire user journey for your business unit’s target audience, ensuring a cohesive and effective experience across all relevant web touchpoints.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication, collaboration, and adaptability, as you will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, align competing priorities, and advocate for web best practices in a dynamic business environment. Given the fast-paced nature of discussions and evolving business needs, the ability to adapt to change seamlessly, influence decisions, present insights effectively, and build strong relationships is essential.

Another critical element is data storytelling—not just interpreting web metrics but extracting meaningful insights and effectively presenting them in a way that drives action.

What The Role Offers

  • Optimize user journeys for engagement and conversions.
  • Partner with marketing teams to align web content with business goals.
  • Ensure SEO, accessibility (WCAG, AODA), and UX best practices.
  • Use A/B testing to improve content effectiveness.
  • Build, update, and test web pages.
  • Manage JIRA tickets and contribute to CMS updates.
  • Collaborate on web redesigns and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain web documentations and track tasks via JIRA/Trello for efficiency.
  • Analyze web metrics and provide data-driven insights.
  • Inform strategic decisions with web data.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Communicate web strategies and insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with BU Leads to uphold web standards and ensure coverage.
  • Advocate for web best practices, balancing UX, journey, and business.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and adaptability, aligning web strategies with stakeholder needs.
  • Team player mindset, ensuring consistency in web standards while supporting BU-specific needs.
  • Experience in web content strategy, UX, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG, AODA).
  • Ability to analyze and present web performance data to drive content decisions.
  • Proficiency in CMS platforms, JIRA, Trello, and A/B testing tools for task tracking and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a combination of training and hands-on expertise.

This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with a passion for creating user-centered, optimized web experiences that support demand generation efforts and drive meaningful business impact. If you thrive at the intersection of content, UX, data storytelling, and digital strategy, we’d love to hear from you.
