A leading financial services provider in North America is seeking a senior wealth management advisor to cultivate and manage high-value client relationships. The successful candidate will provide expert financial strategies and personalized advice, working with a team of specialists to meet the unique financial goals of affluent clients. The position requires a strong background in wealth management, outstanding interpersonal skills, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
As a senior wealth management advisor at Signature Service Ontario , you develop and manage business relationships and prospect for and solicit new mass-affluent Signature Service members and clients. You develop personalized strategies and provide tailored advice and solutions to help members and clients reach their financial and personal goals. You serve as an expert advisor for the 360° wealth management approach and for savings and investments, providing members and clients with premium support. As a business relationship leader, you develop high-level financial strategies. You work closely with a team of expert professionals and specialized partners from various fields to implement the 360° approach. Interpersonal savvy and communication skills are therefore essential. You work with a large client base, made up mainly of high-income earners, professionals and business owners with complex, specific needs. Your work and initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of business and cross-sector, detailed understanding of the organization. You balance member/client satisfaction, objectives, sound and prudent risk and compliance management, and rigorous implementation of the business model, its offerings and delivery. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with members and clients. You have leeway and opportunities to establish and negotiate product and service terms. You serve as an expert in your line of work, mentoring and coaching members of your team. More specifically, you will be required to:
Drum up new business and develop the full potential of existing members and clients.
Set goals and advise members and clients on the best strategies.
Develop a comprehensive 360° offering based on member and client needs.
Actively contribute to meeting sales objectives by developing action plans based on the business plan.
Monitor stock market movements and trends likely to influence investments.
Stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices in your field.
Play an active role in promotional and public relations activities and maintain a presence in the business community.
