Responsibilities:

Breaking the mold of a traditional contact centre environment, the adviceDirect advisor is responsible for primarily supporting clients in the inbound call queue. A successful advisor will invoke trust and build strong client relationships, determine individual investment needs, and provide professional, customized advice to ensure clients’ financial goals are met. Advisors will support clients with various requests such as onboarding, account access, trade orders, investment strategies, and suitability conversations. Advisors will also fulfill sales and service activities for clients in accordance with approved procedures.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) & Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative or Registered Representative
• Knowledge of equity, mutual funds, GICs, HISAs, ETFs, and bonds
• Robust knowledge and familiarity with common wealth management strategies
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of client needs by segmentation
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry regulations and standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and listening skills
• Bilingualism strong asset, French and English. Bilingualism in English and Cantonese or Mandarin will be considered an asset
• Industry Accreditations or working towards preferred (CIM, CFA, CFP)

You’re fluent in French and English as this role provides support to clients and team members inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.

Salary: $54,500.00 - $101,500.00

Pay Type: Salaried
