Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities in Ottawa is seeking an Investment Associate to provide dedicated support in investment and money management activities for a high performing Advisory team.

You will execute trades, assist with client onboarding, and help prepare meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulations. This role is full-time, salaried, in the Wealth Management platform, with a focus on client service and detail.

Qualifications

• CFA Level I completed.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and time management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in securities.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades and rebalance portfolios.
• Follow up on client trades to ensure settlement and delivery.
• Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with clients/prospects.
• Provide proactive client service with problem resolution and attention to details.
• Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, tax receipts, reporting).
• Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding.
• Manage communications from clients, Advisors and partners.
• Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients.
• Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with controls and regulatory requirements.
• Update team communications channels (websites, LinkedIn, brochures, newsletters).
