Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a wealth management advisor to build lasting relationships with members and clients, listening to needs and offering tailored financial advice. You’ll help choose investments, loans and insurance products while balancing satisfaction, profitability and prudent risk.

You will work with members including business owners, collaborate with partners to design integrated strategies, and occasionally travel to service locations in Sainte-Croix and Laurier-Station to meet clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Mutual fund representative certificate required or equivalent.
• Fluency in French is required.
• Knowledge of current financial, economic, political and legislative events.

Responsibilities

• Advise members and clients on the best strategies and work with them to identify expected results.
• Manage business relationships, assess member/client satisfaction and service quality, follow up and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends and best practices in your field.
• Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community.
