Job summary

Sun Life Financial is seeking a motivated internal sales professional to drive results within the Sun Life Global Investments wealth distribution team. You will partner with a director and coordinator to grow sales across a designated region, supporting investment advisors and leveraging CRM for strategic outreach.

The role requires at least 3 years of sales experience in financial services, a Bachelor's degree in commerce/finance/business, and a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business.
• Extremely strong sales aptitude with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Passion for following and understanding capital markets.
• Ability to build credibility and rapport with clients over the phone.
• Strong listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Wealth Sales Director and a Wealth Sales Coordinator to generate sales in the assigned territory.
• Assist investment advisors and insurance specialists with Sun Life Global Investments’ solutions and analyses.
• Generate sales and lead development through outbound calls and emails.
• Input and utilize the CRM/database to plan activities with advisors.
• Participate in meetings and sales workshops to share feedback and information.
• Organize conferences calls and webcasts coordinating product management.
• Develop client base segmentation and strategic plans to increase regional sales.
• Travel to branches and events 2–4 times annually to deepen advisor relationships.
