Job summary

Build Nova Scotia is seeking a Waterfront Operations Coordinator to support the efficient operation of marina facilities across the waterfront portfolio. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, providing tenant support, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

This role involves leading seasonal staff, engaging with public inquiries, and ensuring positive marina experiences.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and directing staff in a team environment.
  • Experience in marine infrastructure maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Coordinate daily marina activities and manage customer communications.
  • Assist with coordination of marine-related event bookings.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Support seasonal staff by providing guidance and leadership.
