Duties, Responsibilities & Other

Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in planning and designing water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure, including hydraulic and mechanical designs for pumping stations, storage facilities, and treatment plants. Knowledge of piping, valving, and pumping for water and wastewater systems. Ability to coordinate designs across disciplines and familiarity with regulatory requirements and permitting. Experience with contract document preparation is required.

  • Experience in a supervisory role or as a specialist in water/wastewater engineering.
  • EI certification required; PE preferred.
  • Experience across all phases of water/wastewater infrastructure design.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; relevant graduate work preferred.
  • 5-9 years of professional experience.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required.
Performance Expectations
  • Timely submission of employee appraisals.
  • Training backup personnel.
  • Compliance with company policies and ISO requirements.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with team members and clients.
  • Prepare design documents, review shop drawings, and conduct site visits.
  • Complete training programs and contribute to project success.
