H2O Innovation in Canada seeks a Water & Wastewater Plant Operator for the Calgary/Kananaskis region. You will operate and maintain treatment plants, perform inspections, document readings, and ensure safety standards. On-call shifts and collaboration with the Operations Lead are required.

Alberta license and strong communication skills are essential. The role involves routine maintenance, reporting to government agencies, and ensuring reliable service for residents and clients in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining water/wastewater treatment plants.
• A Level 1 in all four water/wastewater disciplines is required.
• Must be flexible and committed to public service.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; Alberta driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform on-call duties on a rotational schedule.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and government-compliance standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and document readings and parameters.
• Prepare reports for government agencies as required.
• Perform general facility maintenance and equipment servicing.
• Assist with inventory, orders, and equipment recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
