Alamos Gold Inc. is seeking a Water & Wastewater Facility Operator for the Lynn Lake Gold Project in Manitoba. The role focuses on operating and maintaining potable water and wastewater systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting safe, reliable site operations.

The ideal candidate holds Manitoba water/wastewater certifications, shows strong technical and analytical skills, and can work in a safety-focused team environment on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule at a remote site.

Qualifications

• Manitoba Water and Wastewater Facility Operator Certification is required, with ability to maintain WT/WD/WWC/WWT certifications.
• Experience in operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, regs, and environmental standards.
• Solid mechanical aptitude with basic electrical, plumbing and maintenance skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and facility monitoring systems.
• Laboratory experience is a plus for water/wastewater ops.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, monitor, and maintain water treatment and wastewater systems for compliant operation.
• Collect samples, perform lab tests, monitor parameters, and adjust processes to meet standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of treatment facilities and equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports; perform calculations and interpret results to fix inefficiencies.
• Handle treatment chemicals safely in line with safety procedures and site rules.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support after-hours responses.
