Job summary

Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) Lakeshore West cluster in Kingsville seeks an Operations Supervisor for water and wastewater facilities. You will plan, coordinate and supervise daily O&M activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operation.

The role requires a Class 1 certificate, leadership skills and the ability to manage project work, schedules and on-call coverage. OCWA offers career growth and competitive benefits in Ontario.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 water/wastewater certificate with approval to operate under O. Reg. 128/04 or 129/04.
• Experience overseeing construction projects for facilities.
• Valid G driver’s license with region-wide travel ability.
• Ability to coordinate and supervise O&M staff and activities.
• Willingness for overtime and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee operational and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, regulations and acts.
• Provide team leadership to O&M staff.
• Oversee construction projects for developments or major repairs.
• Respond to emergencies and manage contractor invoices and information requests.
