Job summary

Region of Waterloo seeks a seasoned Director to lead Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Management. You will direct growth planning through capital plan development and manage large-scale asset management programs to sustain safe drinking water and effective wastewater services.

Responsibilities include leading teams, coordinating with councils and ministries, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards while guiding strategic capital investments for the Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with progressive leadership experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Ontario.
• Experience leading water and wastewater infrastructure programs and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Directs growth planning through capital plan development and delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Directs asset management for water and wastewater infrastructure ($2.5B) and develops projects to ensure safe potable water and wastewater services.
• Leads project teams, manages budgets, reports, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
