Job summary

Wright Tree Service of Canada is seeking a Water Truck Driver for a full-time seasonal role based in Calgary, Alberta. The position pays $23 to $26 CAD per hour and provides all equipment except CSA-certified work boots. Typical shift is Monday to Friday, with employee ownership potential.

Key responsibilities include watering vegetation, maintaining hours records, following safety procedures, and performing routine vehicle and equipment maintenance in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Water trees, shrubs & sod around Edmonton and area.
• Maintain record of worked hours.
• Carry out proper safety procedures and documentation.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Work and drive in a safe, professional, and responsible manner.
• Regularly perform physical and manual labor.
• Other duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Expectations

• Class 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• Valid First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills.
• Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE.
• Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
