Job summary

The City of Regina is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator for Water and Sewer Programming. This term position supports municipal wastewater and drainage infrastructure, guiding design, budget, and construction oversight.

The role requires a civil/environmental engineering degree (or related) with several years of field experience, plus registration eligibility. You will lead multiple projects, mentor teams, and coordinate with consultants to protect civic assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional registration or eligibility with APEGS (Saskatchewan).
• Diploma pathway: two-year with TPS registration eligibility.
• Experience with municipal water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for wastewater and drainage projects.
• Manage and supervise construction projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Prepare reports, memos, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Oversee contract administration and consultant work.
• Mentor staff and foster an innovative, collaborative work environment.
