Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our Community Development Team. The role will be based in the Waterloo, London, or Hamilton office with travel to other regional offices as needed.

You will lead surface water projects, ensure high-quality design and analysis, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, on-budget outcomes for clients in private and public sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking detailed studies, modeling and design tasks for surface water works.
• Delegate and coordinate technical work within a 20-person team.
• Mentor junior staff across technical levels.
• Coordinate with engineers and teams to meet project needs.
• Lead proposals and budgets for projects.
• Ensure QA/QC of written, technical and graphic deliverables.
