Job summary

Egis Canada is hiring an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer in Edmonton to support municipal infrastructure and land development projects. You will join multidisciplinary teams delivering hydraulic modeling and design for stormwater, sanitary and water conveyance systems, and roadway drainage.

You should have 3–7 years’ design experience, Alberta licensure (APEGA) preferred, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PCSWMM, MIKE, WaterCAD and SewerCAD.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of design experience on municipal servicing or land development projects.
• Experience with hydraulic modeling and development approvals.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Alberta (APEGA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hydraulic modeling and water resources analysis for municipal servicing and stormwater systems.
• Prepare and review technical reports, design drawings, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering design across land development, infrastructure, and utilities.
• Support planning and execution of stormwater management systems, including ponds and drainage networks.
• Provide technical oversight of hydraulic modeling outputs using PCSWMM, MIKE, WaterCAD, and SewerCAD.
• Participate in proposals and business development activities with technical input.
