Job summary

The City of Quinte West is seeking a Quality Management Technician to support the Water/Wastewater Services team. You will assist with compliance, data analysis, and performance reporting to guide budget decisions and department operations.

Responsibilities include developing guidance documents, supporting education/outreach for source protection, and coordinating with consultants while maintaining records and reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three-year college diploma in Environmental or Chemical Technician or related field.
  • Knowledge of OHSA, SWDA, Sustainable Water & Sewer Act.
  • Proven interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and administrative capabilities.
  • Proficiency with corporate software including Google Workspace and Dayforce.

Responsibilities

  • Screen applications and develop guidance documents for source protection program.
  • Support Education and Outreach Program delivery with Conservation Authority.
  • Assist RMO with implementation and coordination of the source protection program.
  • Prepare annual reports, contracts, presentations and budget analyses.
  • Complete Monthly/Annual reporting for water and wastewater systems.
  • Draft and maintain risk management plans and related records.
