Job summary

Quinte West is seeking a Quality Management Technician II for the Water/Wastewater Services division. The role supports compliance, reporting and performance data analysis to help ensure service standards are met.

The ideal candidate holds a three-year Community College Diploma in Environmental or Chemical Technology and possesses strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in data reporting and quality management systems.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a three (3) year Community College Diploma in an Environmental or Chemical Technician program.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OHSA, SWDA and related environmental regulations.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in data analysis and reports.

Responsibilities

• Screen applications and develop guidance documents for the source protection program.
• Support the RMO and implement the source protection program.
• Prepare annual reports, budget reviews and presentations.
• Complete monthly/annual reporting for the water and wastewater systems.
• Provide input for department budget and asset inventory maintenance.
• Coordinate training and maintain quality management systems.
