Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Water Heater Install Manager in Canada to lead field operations, manage a team of technical professionals and collaborate with independent installers. You will drive service excellence, monitor P&L performance, and build strong relationships with 3rd party partners.

The role requires 3–5 years of field operations oversight, HVAC/water heater industry knowledge, and strong communication and negotiation skills. A Gas Fitter license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive experience overseeing a field operations team.
• Knowledge and technical experience within the HVAC and/or water heater industry.
• Gas Fitter 2 or 313d license would be an asset.
• Sales experience and ability to meet quotas would be an asset.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local managers to plan, budget and deliver on P&L targets.
• Forecast staffing and ensure staffing plans meet service commitments.
• Measure, monitor and report operational metrics and provide analysis.
• Lead and support a Growth through Install mentality to drive customer satisfaction and growth.
• Coach and manage a team of technical professionals to maximize performance.
• Identify opportunities to establish relationships with Independent HVAC Install Contractors.
• Drive excellence through 3rd party partners by selecting and negotiating with vendors and managing relationships.
• Review cost, quality, safety and productivity, and set plans to optimize performance of Operations and vendors.
• Collaborate with Quality, Project Management, Training, HR and Regulatory to improve team performance.
• Promote service excellence and engage team members and partners to uphold standards.
• Resolve customer inquiries/complaints promptly and efficiently.
• Aim to exceed install gross margin.
