EPCOR is seeking a Maintenance Shift Lead at the Regina Wastewater Treatment Plant. Lead a maintenance team, schedule work, and ensure safe, reliable plant operation while coordinating with Team Lead and Operations Manager. Strong leadership, technical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications include a Journeyperson Certificate (Electrical/Instrumentation/Millwright) and 5+ years of maintenance, with wastewater knowledge. This role demands safety focus and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• Valid Journeyperson Certificate in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Millwright is required.
• Wastewater Operator Certification preferred (some level required; Level 4 preferred).
• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of mechanical process operations, materials, equipment, and methods in municipal or comparable industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and proficiency in IVARA.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, work plans, and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of construction and maintenance best practices and the ability to provide strategic, innovative solutions.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems, operations, maintenance, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to exercise fiscal responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Implement schedules, assist colleagues in resolving issues, monitor equipment performance, and direct maintenance staff while applying best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues, interpret data from vibration, acoustic monitoring, IR scanning, and SCADA systems to support decisions.
• Maintain inventory levels of replacement parts and spares in collaboration with leadership.
• Maintain and advance certification levels, and support development of staff training plans.
• Troubleshoot wastewater treatment plant equipment and develop practical solutions.
• Perform work safely in line with policies and regulatory requirements while supporting a zero-injury culture.
• Contribute to maintenance planning, foster collaboration, and share technical knowledge to achieve team goals.
• Complete accurate documentation to meet contract and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance using weekly schedules and IVARA.
