Job summary

Da-Lee Group is seeking a Waste Technician in Bracebridge, Ontario. The role focuses on handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including shipping/receiving, collection, sorting, packaging, and processing. You will also assist at HHW collection events for residents.

This full-time position emphasizes safety, inventory control, and adherence to health and safety requirements while supporting our environmental waste-management operations across multiple sites.

Position Summary

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment and a variety of tasks. As a Waste Technician, you will spend 70% of your time handling non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials, including shipping/receiving, collection, sorting, packaging, and processing. The remaining 30% will involve assisting at Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection events, where residents drop off materials like paint, oil, and other household waste items.

• Monday to Friday work schedule with occasional Saturday shifts.

Work Environment and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage ($20-$22/hr, based on experience).
• Full-time hours-Monday to Friday-8:30am-5:00pm
