Job summary

Arnett & Burgess Energy Services in Blackfalds, AB is seeking a Wash Bay Attendant to keep our heavy equipment and trucks clean, inside and out, and to maintain the wash bay and shop operations.

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, you will wash and detail equipment, keep bays stocked, run for parts, and assist mechanics as needed. A strong work ethic and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

  • Reliable with consistent attendance.
  • Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Comfortable around heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Willing to work in a shop/wash bay environment.
  • Prior washing/detailing experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and detail heavy equipment and trucks, including cab interiors.
  • Keep the wash bay clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Run for parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assist mechanics with general shop tasks.
  • Support shop team with other duties as assigned.

Job description

Our equipment group is currently looking to add a Wash Bay Attendant to our growing team, based in Blackfalds, AB.

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, we are seeking a dedicated individual who can help us keep our heavy equipment and trucks clean, inside and out, and help keep the wash bay and shop running smoothly. If you show up every day, work hard, and pay attention to the little things, we want to hear from you.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Wash and detail heavy equipment and trucks, including cab interiors
  • Keep the wash bay clean, organized, and stocked, including dumping garbage and general upkeep
  • Run for parts and supplies as needed
  • Assist mechanics with general shop tasks when required
  • Support the shop team with other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance
  • Keen attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • Willingness to work hard and take initiative
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
  • Comfortable working around heavy equipment and trucks in a shop/wash bay environment
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
  • Previous experience washing or detailing vehicles or heavy equipment
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a bonus
  • Previous shop, automotive, or mechanical environment experience
Benefits

This position offers an hourly rate of $24.00 - $26.00 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
