Job summary

Chinook Equipment in Lethbridge, Alberta, seeks a Wash Attendant to join our service team. This entry-level position offers a wage between $18 and $22 per hour, depending on experience, and full-time hours with growth potential.

Ideal candidates are comfortable around heavy equipment, reliable, and able to lift up to 40 lbs. Forklift certification is an asset and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and valid driver's license.
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash heavy equipment by removing mud, dirt and manure using pressure washing.
• Remove mud, grease, oil, salt and debris from equipment surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and surrounding areas.
• Keep the yard tidy: snow removal, weed control, mowing, sweeping and trash removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Chinook Equipment in Lethbridge is looking for a hardworking individual to join our service team as a Wash Attendant. The successful candidate will work full-time and have the opportunity to earn a wage between $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an entry-level opportunity and perfect for someone who is wanting to get their foot in the door to grow their career as a heavy equipment technician!

Our ideal candidate is:

• Experienced and comfortable being around heavy equipment

• Not afraid to get their hands dirty

What You'll Do as a Wash Attendant:

• Clean heavy equipment as indicated by pressure-washing away mud, dirt and cow manure to ensure the equipment is presentable
• Remove mud, grease, oil, salt and other debris from equipment surfaces

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and surrounding work areas.

• Maintain all aspects of our organized yard including snow removal, weed spraying, cutting grass, sweeping, emptying trash and other similar tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• High school diploma and valid driver's license
• Preference given to those who have experience in working with heavy equipment and comfortability in doing so
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs
• Forklift Certification an asset
