What We Do

We are an integrated health system providing the full continuum of care to the six communities of the western James Bay coast with over 500 employees, physicians, and partners in care. Who You Are
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Motivated professional who can work with minimal supervision
What You’ll Do
  • Provide laundry services in a health care facility setting
  • Will operate all washing equipment in a manner that will provide the patients with clean and sanitary infection free linen
  • Perform cleaning tasks as required within the laundry area
  • Create and maintain safe working conditions
What You Bring
  • Successful completion of secondary school, equivalency or experience
  • Job related experience in health care facility is an asset
  • Reliable, personable and courteous
  • Certification in WHIMIS or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate in the local native Cree language is an asset
