FCA Canada Inc. is seeking a Warranty Area Manager (Contract) to collaborate with FCA Canada dealerships to enhance service operations and warranty processes.

The WAM serves as the primary liaison between the manufacturer and dealers for all warranty concerns, acting as a dealer consultant for service and warranty operations. Based in Windsor, ON, this contract role involves travel within the area and requires automotive dealership experience, strong communication, and knowledge of warranty

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in automotive service facility environment.
• Automotive dealership experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent post-secondary education with at least three years warranty experience in an automotive dealership.
• Occasional travel within the assigned area.
• Knowledge of warranty procedures and dealer documentation requirements.
• Thorough working knowledge of vehicle mechanics, servicing methods, equipment, and diagnostic procedures.
• Competency with Microsoft Office.
• Outstanding oral and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function within a team environment and maintain respectful relationships with dealers.
• Industry knowledge.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the manufacturer and retailer for warranty operations.
• Observe and improve service operations processes.
• Work with dealer to ensure service and parts adhere to Stellantis service operation policies.
• Troubleshoot and advise on warranty claim processing concerns, identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide dealer guidance on data integrity, service administration policy clarification, pre-authorization requirements, and DSM support.
• Review Fixed First Visit data and Repeat Repair claims.

Job description

The Warranty Area Manager (Contract) works with FCA Canada dealerships to assist with improving service operations and warranty processes. The WAM is the primary liaison between the manufacturer and the dealers within their assigned area for all warranty concerns. The WAM is a dealer consultant helping with dealer processes in service and warranty operations.

Responsibilities of the position will include

• Act as the liaison between the manufacturer and retailer for warranty operations
• Observe and improve service operations processes
• Work with dealer to ensure service and parts consistently adhere to Stellantis service operation policies
• Troubleshoot and advise on warranty claim processing concerns, identifying areas for improvement
• Provide dealer guidance on:
  • Claim and condition structure (data integrity)
  • Service administration policy clarification
  • Discuss pre-authorization requirements and processes
  • Support and provide guidance to DSMs with all warranty operations requirements
  • Review Fixed First Visit data and Repeat Repair claims

This position will be located in the Windsor, ON area.

The salary for this position is $28.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum THREE (3) experience in automotive service facility environment
• Automotive dealership experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Alternatively, post-secondary education with minimum THREE (3) years warranty experience in an automotive dealership will be considered
• Occasional travel within the assigned area
• Knowledge of warranty procedures and dealer documentation requirements
• Thorough working knowledge of vehicle mechanics, recommended servicing methods, available shop equipment, and diagnostic procedures
• Competency with Microsoft Office
• Outstanding oral and verbal communication skills
• Ability to function within a team environment and maintain a respectful working relationship with the dealer body
• Industry knowledge
• Legally eligible to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/French) skills are considered a strong asset
