Are youorganized, responsible, detail-oriented, versatile, and thorough? OCTASIC iscurrently looking for a Warehouseman and Inventory clerk to complete its team.

Reporting to theLogistics, Inventory, and Facilities Manager, and working closely with theshipping coordinator and the production team, the Warehouseman is responsiblefor receiving products, preparing materials and accessories needed to startproduction, and keeping the inventory up to date.

OCTASIC is seeking a warehouseman who will beresponsible for organizing and maintaining the stockroom, in collaboration withthe existing team. The ideal candidate must be meticulous, thorough, andwell-organized, while also being motivated, passionate, and courteous.

Responsibilities:

• Proceed with the receipt of goods, validate thequantities of products as well as the compliance according to establishedstandards and rules.

• Execute data entry transactions related to thepurchase order.

• Execute all entry and exit of goods from the store /inventory to production (and vice versa) and ensure the transactions areinputted into the database.

• Check the condition of the goods received (damage,missing parts, etc.) and proceed with returns to suppliers as needed;

• Allocate and maintain a good tracking system in thestore;

• Ensure the accuracy of the inventory, perform cyclecount and participate in the annual inventory count;

• Respond to requests for parts from production;

• Preparation of equipment and the necessary tooling forengineering projects.

• Collaborate daily with the purchasing, engineering andoperations departments;

• Inspect, verify and assess the wear and conformity ofconsumables according to returns made by production;

• Participate in all actions that may result in greaterefficiency of the department and the reduction of its operating costs;

• Ensure that workspaces are kept clean and wellorganized at all times.

• Replace the shipper when needed, prepare shipmentsusing the work order according to the certificates of compliance and exportcontrol documents, if necessary, and ensure quantities and conformity.

• Allother related tasks.

Requirements:

Training:

• High school diploma

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field

Required skills:

• Must like teamwork, be organized and meticulous, haveinitiative

• Experience in inventory management

• Knowledge of mechanical assembly is an asset

• Know how to manage your time and perform several tasksat the same time

• Ability to lift loads, up to 60 lbs

• Quickly adopt safe work behavior

• Have already worked in production assembly

• Attentive, able to work under pressure, planningskills, organization

• Autonomous, resourceful, at ease with manual labor

• Good knowledge of the use of computer software(Microsoft Suite - particularly Excel)
