The Role

We are currently searching for Warehouse Workers for our Port Coquitlam Distribution Centre. These are unionized part-time opportunities with up to 40 hours a week (overtime may occur). Starting wage is $27.76 / hour with shift premiums and wage increases as per the collective agreement.Must be available for all Friday and Saturday shifts.

On-site at the Port Coquitlam Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product, sorting empties of cans / bottles and crushing cans
• Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
• Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
• Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
• Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and / or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in an operations / warehouse environment considered an asset, but not required
• Must be 19 years of age or older

Skills

• Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
• Above average communication and interpersonal skills
