Job summary

The Original Cakerie, a leading frozen dessert manufacturer in Canada, is hiring full-time Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate at our Delta facility. Responsibilities include locating products with a reach truck, selecting orders, loading trailers, and maintaining clean, safe shipping/receiving areas.

Must have Forklift #2 certification and reach truck experience. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Forklift #2 certificate or certification required.
• Must be able to operate reach truck and power jack.
• Knowledge of Outlook and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication, oral and written skills; able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 22 kg.
• Must have valid work status (work-permit or PR)

Responsibilities

• Locate products in the warehouse using reach truck.
• Perform order selection and loading of trailers.
• Maintain housekeeping of receiving and shipping areas.
• Operate power equipment including hi-reach forklifts.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Locating products in the warehouse; use of reach truck required
• Order selection and loading of trailers
• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

Position Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Forklift #2 (counterbalance & narrow aisle) and power jack experience required.
• Receiving, picking and shipping
• Knowledge of Outlook
• Have strong communication, oral, written and comprehension skills
• Be able to work quickly, under pressure, and have a sense of urgency
• Be able to record and reconcile information while prioritizing
• Have the ability to work independently and with minimal direction
• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• The flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the department
• Outstanding work safe attitude and safety record

• This position will require reach truck certification to support the shipping Operations in the department.
• Please note:Heavy lifting is required up to 22 kg.

What We Offer:

Pay Rate: $22.06/hr

Night Premium is $1.5 (for shifts that are starting between 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM).

Extended health benefits paid 100% by the employer, and dental will be applicable after the successful completion of your probationary period.
