Job summary

The Original Cakerie, Canada''s leading frozen dessert producer, is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate in Delta. The role requires reach truck experience, handling orders, and efficient warehouse management while maintaining safety standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, be forklift certified (Forklift #2), and able to work under pressure. Benefits include extended health, dental after probation, and pension contributions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations or related role.
• Forklift #2 (counterbalance & narrow aisle) experience required.
• Experience in receiving, picking and shipping processes.
• Knowledge of Outlook and general computer use.
• Strong communication, oral and written skills.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and maintain safety.
• Ability to record and reconcile information while prioritizing tasks.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and multi-task.
• Safety-focused attitude and attendance record.
• Reach truck certification required to support shipping operations.
• Heavy lifting up to 22 kg.
• Must be on a valid Work permit/PR or Citizenship.
• Forklift #2 certificate required.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Locating products in the warehouse; use of reach truck required
• Order selection and loading of trailers
• Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
• Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

Position Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Forklift #2 (counterbalance & narrow aisle) and power jack experience required.
• Receiving, picking and shipping
• Knowledge of Outlook
• Have strong communication, oral, written and comprehension skills
• Be able to work quickly, under pressure, and have a sense of urgency
• Be able to record and reconcile information while prioritizing
• Have the ability to work independently and with minimal direction
• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• The flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the department

What We Offer:

Pay Rate: $22.06/hr

Night Premium is $1.5 (for shifts that are starting between 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM).

Extended health benefits paid 100% by the employer, and dental will be applicable after the successful completion of your probationary period.
