Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Halifax, NS is hiring part-time Warehouse Order Selectors at our Lakeside Distribution Center. You will pick items for shipment using a headset and pallet jack, lifting up to 50 pounds, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

• General labour experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work days and Saturdays.
• Must have a pair of CSA approved safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or fork lift.
• Use a headset to pick individual items inside warehouse.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ensure items picked accurately and safely to prevent damage.
• Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment.
• Keep work area tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets.
• Other duties as required.

Position Details

• Day Shifts: 7:30am until 6:00pm
• Starting wage: $19.25 Part Time
• 10 hour shift OR 8 hour shift (up to 40 hrs/week)
• Overtime pay

Duties
