UPS is seeking a warehouse associate for its Kanata, ON location. The role involves loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages, with potential use of heavy machinery. You will be part of a fast-paced team and contribute to efficient package handling processes.

The position is permanent with early shift hours (approximately 4:00–9:00 AM) and 3–5 hours per day. Benefits include health, dental, group insurance, pension, and free onsite parking, with weekly pay

Competenze

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Shift can start between 4:30 AM to 5:15 AM; must start as early as 4:00 AM and stay until 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday.
• Shift averages 3–5 hours a day; hours may vary with operation needs.
• Warehouse experience - Preferred.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars .

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Scheduled Shift: shift can start between 4:30 AM to 5:15 AM.
• That means potential candidates must be able to start work as early as 4:00 am and must be able to stay until 9:00 am, Monday to Friday. Without exception.
• Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, but hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational needs. Please note that you will immediately start working either on your orientation day or the next day.
