Job summary

UPS in Ottawa is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to help with loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning packages at the facility. The role is a morning position with shifts starting around 4:15 AM and running through 9:15 AM, Monday to Friday, for up to 25 hours per week.

Training is provided with opportunities for progression up to 31.49 per hour. Benefits include extended health and dental coverage, group insurance, and tuition reimbursement; onsite parking is free, and advancement

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted.
• Able to work with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers.
• Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks or similar equipment.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment.
• Must be able to work with and recognize postal codes and routing charts.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages.
• Sort and scan packages in the center.
• Operate or assist with conveyor systems as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a busy warehouse.

This is a

morning position. UPS is currently looking for Part-time Warehouse Associate at our Ottawa location. You will be responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in the center.

• Job Classifications: Part-time Warehouse
• Job Type: Permanent/Hourly
• Workdays: Monday - Fridays (Must be able to work all 5 days per week)
• Scheduled Shift: Typically starts at 4:15 AM
• Must be able to work up to 25 hours per week.
• Start time is between 4:15-6:00 am and can go until 9:15am. That means potential candidates must be able to start work as early as 4:15 am and must be able to stay until 9:15 am, Monday to Friday. Without exception.

Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, but hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational need.
