Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. in Kanata, ON is hiring a Warehouse Associate to load, unload, ship, receive, scan, sort and stock packages. The role may use heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment.

You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg), read postal codes, and work a flexible early shift starting between 4:30 AM and 5:15 AM. Shifts are typically 3–5 hours, Monday to Friday, with start as early as 4:00 AM and finish by 9:00 AM.

• Available to work flexible shifts, up to 5 days per week.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. He/She may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars .

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Scheduled Shift: shift can start between 4:30 AM to 5:15 AM.
• That means potential candidates mustbe able to start work as early as 4:00 am and mustbe able to stay until 9:00 am, Monday to Friday. Without exception.
• Shift averages 3-5 hours a day, but hours, start times/finish times may vary with operational needs. Please note that you will immediately start working either on your orientation day or the next day.
