Job summary

Sandvik AB in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support mine-site warehouse operations. You will receive, inspect, and manage materials to ensure accurate inventory, while coordinating storage and shipments for on-site operations.

The role offers a two-weeks-on/two-weeks-off rotation and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, inventory system proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of warehouse or inventory experience.
• Experience operating a forklift is required.
• Experience using computerized inventory management systems is required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s licence in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and audit incoming materials to ensure inventory records are accurate.
• Coordinate the safe storage and timely shipment of materials.
• Prepare shipping and receiving schedules to keep goods moving and space organized.
• Maintain procedures for space utilization, facilities and equipment.
• Process sales orders and invoices accurately.
• Update warehouse location and inventories in the system.
• Support customer on-call services as required.
• Take on other duties to support safe, efficient warehouse operations.
