Job summary

Tilray is seeking a Warehouse Technician at our Ste Agathe, MB site. You will verify shipments, unload/load trucks, and ensure accurate documentation and inventory control. The role requires forklift use, attention to safety, and cooperation with logistics partners.

You will handle hemp seed deliveries, data entry, and adherence to GMP-like standards as part of a fast-paced team environment. Flexible hours and local travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license; able to learn to drive a 5-ton truck.
• Willing to work at Ste Agathe location and handle extra hours when needed.
• Familiar with MS Office or similar computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/monitor pickup and delivery status; obtain freight quotes and track inbound/outbound shipments.
• Unload/load trucks and complete accurate shipping/receiving manifests.
• Receive/load hemp seed in all weather; perform sampling, data entry, and cleanup.
• Ensure shipping orders have required documentation per customer specs.
• Monitor shipment status and follow up on pickups.
• Interact with logistics providers to coordinate movement, quotes, and bills of lading.
• Enter paperwork promptly for each shipment and maintain logs.
• Keep workspace clean and organized; assist with weekly/monthly inventory counts.
• Inspect incoming shipments to meet quality requirements and support production materials.

In addition, the position will be responsible for the unloading of shell trucks and ensuring seed is allocated to the proper storage bins.
