PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Distribution Centre in Ottawa , ON for a Part Time Warehouse Technician .

The Role:
The Warehouse Technician will contribute to the success of PepsiCo Foods Canada by playing a critical role in the “move” portion of our business. The Warehouse Technician will perform general warehouse duties involving delivering efficiency and accuracy targets, maintaining a clean and safe working environment; inventory management; and operation of an automated pick cart; building orders and loading trucks.

Candidates will require flexible availability including weekdays, weekends , and evenings.

Compensation: $23.90 per hour (+shift premiums)


Responsibilities

  • Uploads cardboard and return product from route trucks into inventory
  • Stacks and bundles cardboards
  • Picks customer orders by either full of cases by voice or scanner
  • Pick customer orders by individual bag on Pre-pick module/cart
  • Loads route trucks with product using roller carts or by hand-bombing
  • Performs general clean-up/sanitation duties including facility and ground appearance
  • Work in a s afe m anner utilizing safe lifting techniques
  • Attend regular scheduled team meetings

  • Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Valid Class G drivers license with a clean driving record is a plus
  • E xcellent communication skills
  • Completed high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
