Job summary

Bento Sushi is hiring a Warehouse Team Member at our British Columbia Food Factory in Richmond. You will support daily warehouse operations, receiving products and preparing orders for internal and external customers.

The role requires attention to detail, accuracy in receivables and shipments, and maintaining inventory with a pump truck for moving skids. duties include picking/packing orders, receiving shipments, logging activities, stacking on skids, and inventory upkeep.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Comfortable with basic mathematical skills and knowledge.
• Flexible to work various shifts and weekends.
• Able to build relationships with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Pick/prepare orders for internal and external customers according to purchase orders and by route.
• Receive products from suppliers.
• Ensure all orders received and shipped are accurate, including completing daily shipping and receiving logs.
• Stacking and loading products on skids.
• Use of a pump truck to bring skids over to the work area.
• Inventory maintenance.

Location and hours

• British Columbia Food Factory: 150-4311 Viking Way, Richmond BC, V6V 2K9 | Sunday and weekday availability: 10:00 am to 5:30 pm

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Team Member, you support the daily warehouse system operations by receiving products from suppliers and preparing orders for internal and external customers. You are detail oriented and ensure accuracy and completeness in all receivables and shipments and maintain accurate inventories of products.

• Pick/Prepare orders for internal and external customers according to purchase orders and by route
• Receive products from suppliers
• Ensure all orders received and shipped are accurate, including completing daily shipping and receiving logs
• Stacking and loading products on skids
