Job summary

GoBolt in Markham, ON is seeking a Transportation Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, coordinate activities, and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a supervisory logistics role, strong leadership and organizational skills, and proficiency with warehouse management software and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management software and Google Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Staging, sorting, palletizing, and crating of items.
• Provide regular reports on transportation performance and SLAs.
• Operate scanners, carts, hand trucks and dollies.
• Maintain accurate documentation daily.
• Enforce 5S processes; ensure safety and productivity.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise warehouse associates.
• Assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Coordinate with procurement, account management, and customer service.
• Communicate effectively with team, management, and partners.
