Job summary

Master is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead in Calgary to ensure smooth operations, optimize inventory flow, and lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch, maintain safety and compliance, analyze performance data, and collaborate with procurement and transportation partners to meet tight schedules. This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to build SOPs and train staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in inventory, shipping, or receiving within a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with RF systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong operational knowledge of a distribution environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills; creative problem solving.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying detail oriented.
• Ability to build SOPs and other relevant documents.
• Ability to drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement and maintain audit processes to optimize storage solutions and streamline operations.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to schedule deliveries.
• Enforce safety and health regulations within the warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with transportation companies and internal departments to resolve shipping or receiving issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Ensure office supplies and equipment are in good repair and adequately supplied.
