Graybar Canada has an opportunity for a Warehouse Support at our KITCHENER, ON branch. You will assist in picking orders, shipping and receiving, load and unload trucks, and help maintain organized, safe work areas. You may operate a forklift with training provided.

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits. The ideal candidate has at least a Grade 12 education, basic computer skills, and an interest in growing with Graybar.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Ability to do light to moderate lifting (up to 60 lbs).
• Competent with computer systems and various operating environments.
• Interest in progressing within Graybar Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assist in picking orders, shipping and receiving, load and unload trucks.
• Read purchase orders to determine items to be moved and shipped.
• Use of forklift, training provided by Graybar Canada.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or bins.
• Assist in counting physical inventory and maintain organized workspace.
• Wear required safety equipment and perform other duties as assigned.

• Reading purchase orders to determine items to be moved, gathered and/or shipped.
• Use of forklift, training provided by Graybar Canada.
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.
• Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wearing the proper safety equipment.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Previous warehouse handling experience will be considered an asset.
• Ability to do light to moderate lifting (up to 60 lbs).
• An interest in progressing within our organization.
• Competent with computer and various operating systems.

Base start salary: $42,500-45,000
